Rebecca C. Cory, PhD, is Associate Dean of Instruction at Bellevue College, in Bellevue, Washington. She has dedicated her professional career to the inclusion of students on the margins in higher education. She served as disabilities services director at three intuitions and has co-edited two books on accessible pedagogy, Building Pedagogical Curbcuts: Incorporating Disability in the University Classroom and Curriculum (Syracuse University Press) and Universal Design in Higher Education, from Principles to Practice (Harvard Education Press). She has served as a faculty member in higher education leadership and adult education. Rebecca lives in Seattle where she swims regularly in Puget Sound and enjoys the company of her spouse and backyard chickens.
