Why Was YIFY Taken Down?

YIFY, or YTS, became very popular because of its large collection of movies and TV shows available through torrents. However, legal troubles started when authorities noticed that too much of its content was pirated or copyrighted. Since distributing copyrighted material without permission is illegal, the site was shut down in February 2022. Now, users who previously used YIFY have turned to similar content with another alternative. By which they continue to use the same resources as same as Yify platform.
